Since fiscal 2004, bet365 カジノYK Group has been supporting a campaign organized by the Shanti Volunteer Association (SVA),* a nongovernmental organization, to deliver picture books to areas in need.
In fiscal 2013, workshops were held at NYK’s head office and Yokohama branch, and stickers bearing text translations in local languages were placed in 103 picture books. The books were then shipped with other books collected from throughout Japan to children in Myanmar refugee camps located in Thailand and Cambodia.
Over the past 10 years, 172,409 books have been transported by bet365 カジノYK Group in this campaign.
NYK will continue to sponsor these workshops and provide logistics services by ocean, land, and air as a part of bet365 カジノYK Group’s social contribution activities.

In 1981, SVA started to distribute picture books at Cambodian refugee camps. The association provides educational and cultural support to children, mainly in Asia.
