During the month of November, NYK awarded scholarships to 83 Chinese students at awardbet365 入金eremonies at Shanghai Maritime University (SMU) and Dalian Maritime University (DMU). NYK began this program in 2001 as one of the company’bet365 入金ocial activities focusing on education, and over 14 consecutive yearbet365 入金cholarships have been presented by NYK to a total of 820 Chinese students.

On November 12, an awardbet365 入金eremony was held at SMU, where 36 students were recognized for their academic excellence and fine demeanor and encouraged to develop themselves into socially responsible and intelligent young Chinese filled with an international vision. Those in attendance included Keizo Nagai, NYK corporate officer and chief representative for China, and Jin Yongxing, the vice-president of SMU.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nagai commented, “China and Japan are neighboring countries separated by only a strip of water. Achieving deeper, friendlier bonds between the two requires devotion from young people like the fine students here. Bilateral visits and communication between youths are of high importance to enhance mutual understanding and trust.” Mr. Jin reviewed SMU’bet365 入金ooperation with NYK and offered his sincere appreciation for NYK’bet365 入金ontinuous devotion to maritime education.

An awardbet365 入金eremony was also held at DMU on November 3, where 47 students were given scholarships by Mr. Nagai. At the ceremony, DMU vice president Shan Hongjun expressed his appreciation and respect for NYK's long-term support, particularly during years when economies and the maritime industry were struggling.
