The project group has installed MAKO turbines under the Sentosa Boardwalk — i.e., the bridge between the Singapore mainland bet365 入金 方法he island of Sentosa — bet365 入金 方法he efficiency and cost of power generation will be examined over the next year. The electricity produced through this project is grid tied and supports the lighting along the Sentosa Boardwalk.

Tidal turbines operate in a similar way to wind turbines, except that tidal turbines use the flow of the tide to generate predictable and efficient renewable energy, unaffected by weather bet365 入金 方法he time of day.

This project aims to be the first in Singapore to commercialize on marine renewable energy, and is expected to expand into Asian countries including Japan in the future.
