On September 15 and 16, NYK held its annual bet365 キャンペーン Safety Conference to share safety awareness and review trouble response for bet365 キャンペーン vessels.

This conference has been held every year since 2010 to promote safety through exchanging ideas and sharing information about recent incidents with shipowners and ship-management company personnel in charge of vessel management.

This year’s conference was held for the first time in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, in a hybrid format (both face-to-face and online) with participation from 38 shipowners and ship management companies from Japan and abroad.

On the first day of the conference, Gurpreet Singh, Chief Commercial Officer of RightShip Singapore Pte Ltd, was invited to a group discussion on ship-handling accidents, scrubber-related issues, and requests for RightShip.

On the second day, we examined case studies of past accidents and introduced NYK’s safety measures to eradicate accidents. Mr. Toshiaki Fujioka, CEO of MarCoPay, which operates a financial platform for seafarers, was also invited to give a presentation.
In addition, the NYK bet365 キャンペーン Award 2022 was presented to 17 vessels that have not been detained and obtained any deficiencies by Port State Control and without downtime caused by trouble for two years.

In February 2021, NYK released the “bet365 キャンペーンp ESG Story,” which aims to further integrate ESG into the company’s management strategy and promotes activities that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs through business activities. In March this year, NYK released the updated “bet365 キャンペーンp ESG Story 2022,” which introduces initiatives for integrating ESG into the Group’s management strategies set forth in the “bet365 キャンペーンp ESG Story” and provides a partial explanation of the Group’s sustainable growth strategy from a long-term perspective.
