The Nadeshiko Brand initiative is jointly conducted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) to recognize listed companies with an outstanding record of encouraging women's success in the workplace.

Inaugurated in FY2012, this year the Nadeshiko Brand initiative has established a new Semi-Nadeshiko Brand category, which selects companies that have the potential for future growth regarding the encouragement of women's success in the workplace.
